HR practitioner appointments

New HR director at Park Hotel GroupAfter more than three years in China, serving as chief people officer at Chia Tai Commercial Real Estate & Shanghai Kinghill, Alex Ang relocated in August to Singapore for his new role.

Ang has a wealth of experience leading the human resources operation in the hotel industry, dating back to his days as director of human resources at Renaissance Hotel Suzhou in 2004.    He also held senior HR roles at Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Jin Jiang International Hotel Mgt Co.

Monsanto Company promotes leadership & performance leadCaroline Palmstedt was promoted leadership & performance lead, Asia Africa in May.  She had been with the company since 2014, serving as the regional talent management lead, Asia Pacific.

In her new role she will overlook talent & performance management, succession planning & people review, leadership development strategy for Asia Africa geographies covering Asia Pacific, India, China and Africa.  She is a core team member of Monsanto global change management team and diversity & inclusion team. She is based in Singapore.

Yoma Strategic welcomes new HR headMartin Appel was appointed the company's group head HR with effect in August.  Previously he was the director of RAW Fit in Singapore.  He will relocate to Myanmar for his new role.

DKSH enhances talent acquisition teamAaron Victor was hired as manager, talent sourcing in August.   Previously, he was a talent acquisition specialist.with Scope International.

He brings with him over 7 years of experience in recruiting across various industries. He is based in Malaysia.

Roche welcomes new human resources managerRosziana Roslan joins Roche in June after spending more than three years with Mercedes-Benz Malaysia as their human resources manager.

Roslan brings with her more than 10 years of experience in  HR with more than 5 years in leadership role in HR.  Her expertise includes managing both operational HR and strategic HR functions.  She is based in Malaysia.

Cochlear strengthens recruitment teamLee Wai Leong joined the company as senior recruitment specialist in June.  He has a wealth of experience in recruitment including recruiter roles with Shell, Kelly Services and MRINetwork.

His previous appointment was senior consultant at Spring Professional.  He is based in Malaysia.

Ezypay hires new HR & administration managerNadia James picked up the role as executive assistant to CEO/HR & administration manager in August.  She will be responsible for staffing & recruitment, promoting process improvement, administration & coordination and other HR and administrative duties.

She came over from HSBC global technology where she was the  project management  of HR global projects.  She is based in Malaysia.

Simplex Private welcomes new HR managerSimon Chong joined the company as their group human resource Manager in August.  His previous appointment was senior HR manager at MAN Diesel & Turbo Singapore Pte Ltd. He is based in Singapore.

HR Solutions Provider Appointments

Pan Pacific Singapore welcomes new director of sales and marketingJudy Koh was appointed the role in August.   In the role, she will managing the MICE, corporate, leisure and catering sales and event services teams, she will also oversee the marketing communications department.

With over 20 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, she is no stranger to Pan Pacific, she was most recently the director of sales & marketing at PARKROYAL on Beach Road, and prior to that, was the director of sales at Pan Pacific Hotels Group’s Central Sales.

She is based in Singapore.

Musubi Group opens in Hong KongAdam Cooke founded his own recruitment firm after five years at the GroupM serving in a talent acquisition role.  He had helped the group hire key people across all their operating companies and across multiple Asian markets. With effect starting June, he is the director of Musubi Group. He is based in Hong Kong.

Sharala G.to head MetaMind TrainingShe was appointed the firm's general manager at the firm with effect starting August.  Prior to joining MetaMind Training, she was a client relationship manager at Drake International.  She is based in Singapore.

David Crofts is new SVP people & resources at FlextronicsHe earned the promotion in August after having served in the company since 2012, he was promoted from role of  SVP talent & rewards.

Crofts is an experienced senior HR business partner with broad experience of leading and developing HR teams within country, regional, global and functional roles.  He is based in the United States.

Jingpei Lin joins Oakwood WorldwideHe joined the company as a global account manager in July.  He came over from Ten Group where he served as the regional account manager, APAC.  He is based in Singapore.

Korn Ferry Futurestep promotes managerNorman Zhou was promoted in August to talent delivery centre leader and service delivery manager, retail.  In his new role, he will focus on management and execution of large scale recruitment project solutions.

Prior to the role, he served as an associate consultant at Futurestep under Korn Ferry group, and had been with the group since 2008, he is based in China.

font hires technology talent agentJon Sales picked up the role in August, he came over from GECO-Group where he was the client engagement manager.  He has more than  14 years of experience in recruitment, corporate, telemarketing, dealer and retail sales.

In his new role he will focus on connecting technology digital, marketing and creative talent with employers.  He is based in Singapore.

Ambition (Asia) promotes consultantSelva Rani was promoted to consultant-technology-application in August.  She joined the company in February this year as consultant-technology-application before being promoted.

She started her career in recruitment in 2014, she is based in Malaysia.

ADP promotes senior manager for global business resiliencyIn his new role, Anton Daniel Yap will lead ADP's business resiliency training and education work stream globally. He had been with ADP since 2013 and was promoted from the role as manager for global business resiliency.

Yap's  appointment came into effect in April, he is based in the Philippines.

Monster International strengthens teamJasreena Dhaliwal joined the company as business development manager after spending time with Adecco Group as their recruitment consultant/credit controller.

Dhaliwal has been in the recruitment industry since 2012, she is based in Malaysia.

William Loke expands his role with SodexoIn his new role as learning and development manager - Malaysia & Singapore, and employee engagement manager - Malaysia, Loke will be responsible for managing staff development and development of training materials for both Malaysia and Singapore. He will also conduct training needs analysis for training advancement and manage the entire training and development portfolio of the company.

Loke has been with Sodexo since 2012, he was promoted in June  from the learning and development manager role.  He is based in Malaysia

Alpha Search Consultants promotes consulting managerSam Malchinhvv moved up to the role in August.  He had been with the company since 2014 and was promoted from the role as senior business consultant.  He is based in China.
