WAREHOUSE DISTRIBUTION
Australia - A new professional association to service the warehousing and distribution industry was launched today in Sydney.
The Australian Warehousing Association (AusWA) is fully incorporated and will work to operate member services and progressively move to other geographic locations from its current operations in Parramatta.
AusWA is affiliated with international organisations such as International Federation of Warehousing and Logistics Association IFWLA and the United Kingdom Warehousing Association UKWA.
The warehousing and distribution sector is a critical component in the supply chain including the transport industries, which all currently have industry bodies or associations working on member education needs and professional development.
The refrigeration sector is the only exception in the support of warehouses with the Refrigerated Warehouse & Transport Association supporting it.
