Are your employees secretly doing this?

Everyone experiences workday slumps where lapses in concentration and productivity occur. According to the travel site, KAYAK co-workers are likely researching their next vacation.

In fact, 57% of people admit planning a vacation during work hours and between 11 a.m and noon searches for vacation travel spike on their site. So the site developed a desktop application that can help users with looking for vacation travel plans.

The app is called Desktop Escape, and it turns one's computer background into a search tool. The app rotates a series of travel pictures on one's computer desktop background. If one of the images interests the user, the user can simply click the app and it will report information on airfare from current location to the destination. It also provides weather conditions and travel tips to help research their next vacation.

And because the app was designed to blend into one's desktop, the boss won't know when an employee is slacking off.
