Asia Recruitment Awards: What makes a great candidate experience

Recruitment professionals who think outside the box to create a remarkable candidate experience will have their moment at the Asia Recruitment Awards, Asia’s only regional awards show dedicated to recognising and celebrating the best in recruitment & talent acquisition. The candidate experience category will show how HR groups and talent acquisition specialists achieve results by implementing unique employment processes.

The Asia Recruitment Awards is happening in Kuala Lumpur on 31 March; Singapore on 7 April; and Hong Kong on 11 April.

According to Aditi Sharma Kalra, regional editor of Human Resources magazine, the category for candidate experience is dedicated to in-house HR teams and recruitment firms which improve hiring results through responsible brand awareness, smooth transition and transparent communication.

She commented: “The Asia Recruitment Awards will bring to light the best practices in attracting top talent and keeping the applicant experience positive.”

Last year's Asia Recruitment Awards 2016 in Singapore awarded the Best Candidate Experience gold prize to research company Kadence International, while silver went to Tata Consultancy, and Maybank won bronze.

ANZ Bank was the gold recipient of the Best On-Boarding Experience award while specialty chemicals firm Clariant and TWG Tea shared the silver award. Kadence International and tobacco giant PMFTC both won the bronze award.
