Creating happier, healthier and more productive workforce with Virgin Pulse

Workplace wellbeing solution provider, Virgin Pulse, has reaffirmed its support for the HR community in Asia by confirming its participation in Employee Benefits Asia, Asia’s biggest annual conference dedicated to compensation & benefits strategy.

Organised by Human Resources, the annual event is happening in Hong Kong on 11 May, in Malaysia on 16-17 May, and in Singapore on 18-19 May.

“There is a fundamental shift in the understanding of wellness programmes, from an optional, nice-to-have offering, to a mandatory, mission-critical business investment,” said John Garrido, Asia regional director of Virgin Pulse. “Organisations that put employee health and wellbeing at the core of their workplace cultures will continue to enjoy a significant competitive advantage in terms of higher employee engagement and increased productivity.”

Garrido will be sharing his expertise on the global shift from wellness to wellbeing. “Delegates will learn the important differences between wellness and wellbeing, and how investing strategically in a culture of wellbeing produces greater outcomes that measurably impact business performance,” he added.

Garrido is the Asia regional director for Virgin Pulse. Virgin Pulse is the world’s largest wellbeing company supporting over 2,000 clients and 2.4 million employees globally. Virgin Pulse demonstrates to businesses that if you take care of your employees, they take care of your business. With billions of data points gathered from its local members for over 10 years, Virgin Pulse brings deep insights into employee health challenges in Asia and proves the value on investment in strategic wellbeing initiatives.

Organisations today understand that employees cannot be engaged in their work if they show up unhealthy or unwell, physically or mentally. However, most do not have a health and wellbeing strategy and fewer have executed an effective strategy. Virgin Pulse impacts the entire workforce population to create a culture of health. More than 2,200 organisations representing many of the Fortune 500 and Best Places to Work have selected Virgin Pulse’s solutions to engage their workforces and drive their businesses forward.

Past Employee Benefits Asia attendees are top HR executives from leading and international companies in the region, such as CapitaLand, DHL, General Electric, Heineken, Maersk, The Waltz Disney Company, Rolls-Royce and many more. All presenters and panellists are director or vice president level HR professionals with regional responsibility.

The agenda is dominated by case studies and global thought leaders and attracts a large audience of senior HR generalists and compensation & benefits specialists.

To get a global and Pan-Asian regional view of compensation & benefits and expand your knowledge and skills across the rewards spectrum, reserve your seat for Employee Benefits Asia in May 2017.
