Debating the case for cloud technology

In recent years, cloud services have undoubtedly transformed the landscape of HR technology systems.

The benefits include shorter implementation timelines, lower overhead maintenance costs and increased accessibility which can lead to heightened employee engagement and collaboration.

Yet, despite its potential, a certain amount of inertia remains towards the adoption of HR cloud technologies.

Apart from people factors such as getting buy-in from management to invest into a new system, and the need to educate employees on the usage and benefits of a system change, another big consideration for HR is the migration of data from one technological setup to another.

HR Tech Interactive 2014 will feature a keynote session and a facilitated interactive round-table specifically on the topic of the HR cloud.

The primary concerns over the adoption of the cloud will be explored alongside HR experts, who will share their insights into how to make this transition as painless as possible.Conference delegates will also have the opportunity to voice their concerns and seek advice on the suitability of such systems for their own companies.

HR Tech Interactive 2014 will be held on November 21 at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Singapore.
