Deliveroo awards riders for their achievements and contributions

This year, 30 awardees have been chosen among all 12,000 Hong Kong Deliveroo riders.

To express gratitude to, and recognise riders for their contributions to the community, restaurants and their fellow riders as well as their personal growth and achievements, Deliveroo has hosted the 'Deliveroo Rider Awards Ceremony' in December 2022.

There were six award categories: 'Go above & Beyond', 'Roo’ Model', 'Goal Better', 'Community Hero', 'Charity Star', and 'Long Service Award', with the nomination coming from Deliveroo customers, fellow riders, and restaurant partners.

This year, 30 awardees have been chosen among all 12,000 Hong Kong Deliveroo riders.

Andrew Hui, General Manager, Deliveroo Hong Kong, said Deliveroo has always recognised riders as vital partners, important stakeholders of its ecosystem, and crucial to the business's success. With the Rider Awards, the company aims to thank riders for their dedication and contributions.

"Our winning riders excel in different ways, with some acting as role models for their peers while others have heartwarming personal stories. We also can't forget their efforts towards participating in voluntary and charitable activities, each time with a smile on their faces. I congratulate every one of our honorees. It is an honour to work with such wonderful people," added Hui.
