Dimension Data appoints Steven Medeiros as new country general manager

Technology service provider Dimension Data announced yesterday the appointment of Steven Medeiros as its new country general manager for Hong Kong and Macau.

He will oversee all aspects of Dimension Data's business operations and activities in Hong Kong and Macau, and will lend his expertise in transformational IT business leadership to the team.

Prior to joining Dimension Data, Medeiros was general manager, Asia Pacific and the Middle East, at Kony Inc., a mobile applications platform provider.  He has also held several senior leadership and general management roles across the region with major global IT providers including SAP, Hire.com and Oracle.

"Steven brings with him several years of experience in senior leadership and in building business relationships with global technology companies. We are very happy to have him join us and are confident that he will add an enormous amount of value to our business, create greater adoption for our wide portfolio of service offerings and solutions and grow our brand presence in Hong Kong and Macau," said Lum Puay Koon Lim, chief executive officer – North Asia, Dimension Data Asia Pacific.
