三分之一香港女性計劃創業

據AllBright最近的全球調查顯示,在新冠疫情影響下,三分之一的受訪香港女性計劃創業(相比英國和澳洲為四分之一),而四分之一的人已經在實行。當中有31%的受訪者選擇在時裝界創業,其他熱門行業包括健康與福利和科技。

但滙豐銀行的另一項研究發現,本港女性企業家(68%)最有可能因其投資目標而被拒絕提供資金,比全球平均水平高18%。她們平均需要9.7個月才能籌集資金,而男性企業家則只需8.8個月,這一數字也落後於亞洲其他地區,例如新加坡為9.1個月,中國內地為7.8個月。

令人鼓舞的是,成功實現61%或更多投資目標的比例方面,本港男性企業家僅比女性企業家高2%,是阿聯酋以外所有受訪地區之中最少。雖然實際比例(29%)與美國和新加坡持平,但仍大大落後於阿聯酋(45%)和中國內地(40%)。

AllBright聯合創辦人Debbie Wosskow OBE說:「女性企業家目前面臨的挑戰多不勝數,但現實表明她們一如既往地具備很強的適應力。儘管新冠疫情對女性的職業發展和全球女性企業家的發展計劃造成不成比例的影響,但仍有許多女性計劃在疫情過後創業。」
