HR Excellence Awards 2021: Thailand finalists announced

With 20 categories for employers to enter, the awards recognise teams and individuals who are resilient in pushing the boundaries of people strategy. The winners will be announced on 8 October 2021.

It’s time to celebrate HR excellence as the highly-anticipated finalists for the HR Excellence Awards 2021, Thailand have been unveiled.

Human Resources Online is proud to announce the launch of the inaugural edition of the #HRExcellenceAwards in Thailand, to honour the nation's best-in-class HR teams and individuals for their spectacular work executed across the entire HR function.

With 20 categories for organisations and individuals to enter, the awards recognise teams and individuals who are resilient in pushing the boundaries of people strategy to achieve new heights, the Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards along with individual winner trophies will be awarded.

The winners will be announced on 8 October 2021.

The awards are judged by a panel of top HR leaders. This year, the panel includes senior HR professionals from organisations such as Aditya Birla Chemicals, FLSmidth, Hanesbrand Inc, HP Inc and Mercedes-Benz (Thailand).

One of the award's judges, Chutima Sribumrungsart, Chief Human Resources Officer - EVP, Gulf Energy Development, said that “it is really inspiring to see the work of the HR community in Thailand, in uplifting the capabilities of the organisation." She added: "The journey of shaping organisations is not a rosy road, and this requires persistence, commitment and passion from individuals and teams."

Meanwhile, Kanokpai Vongsatitporn, Head of Human Resources at CIMB Thai Bank, shared that she’s “very glad to see companies putting a lot of investment in building the ‘right’ culture in the workplace". She added: "Having the right tone from the top, building a can-do attitude among the people, and supporting them via a variety of recognition initiatives are keys to getting the employees’ hearts."
