Kisha Raju joins Axiata as HR specialistJoining Axiata Digital in August, Kisha Raju is the new HR specialist. With the firm expanding, it is looking to hire almost 100 headcount next year. Her main priority is to work hand in hand with the head of HR to improve the recruitment process, in terms of branding, candidate experience and process flow. She is based in Malaysia.

Philippe Wimmer joins Allegis Global SolutionsIn August, Philippe Wimmer joins Allegis Global Solutions as a director of recruitment operations and has been in talent acquisition for Europe and APAC for the past 10 years.

Philippe specialises in managing and implementing innovative outsourcing solutions for clients, specifically in the field of managed services provider programmes (MSP) and recruitment process outsourcing (RPO).

In his role, he ensures that the account team is focused on service excellence and continuous improvement. As client requirements shift in response to external market factors, Philippe creates new solutions to consistently deliver results that exceed expectations. He is passionate about creating an extraordinary experience that aligns to our Clients and AGS Values for all stakeholders of our recruitment services. He is based in Singapore.

YTY Industry welcomes HR deputy managerStarting in July 2017, Jeren Raj has taken up his new role as HR deputy manager at YTY Industry in Sitiawan, Perak. He has over 17 years of experience in the HR industry in Malaysia. Most recently, he was an HR experienced analyst at Vale Malaysia Minerals. He continues to be based in Malaysia.

Santhi Rajendran joins Worley Parsons BSCHaving been an HR practitioner since 2008, Santhi Ranjendran is moving jobs from a HR relationship manager in AmGeneral Insurance to a senior HR business partner role in Worley Parsons BSC. Speaking to Human Resources, he said: “I'm excited for this new role as HR is trending in business partnering. I would like to give credit to HCI Human Capital Institute and the Strategic HR Business Partner certification which I completed in December 2016. This cert gives the best summary of what's required for a HRBP.”

Regina Caroline returns to Showa DenkoAfter almost a three-year stint with Besgrade Products, Regina Caroline has returned to Showa Denko HD as its HR manager. Acting as an HR manager across a range of organisations in the last 10 years, Caroline started her HR career in 2005 with FCB. Based in Japan, the Showa Denko Group continues to offer individualised products in many areas, including energy/environment and electronics, through interconnection of inorganic, aluminum, and organic chemical technologies. Caroline is based in Malaysia.

Chris Abarintos joins PwC PH as human capital managerAs Chris Abarintos joins PwC PH as human capital manager, he reports to the local human capital director where he is responsible of the overall recruitment operations of the whole firm. On top of said core function, he manages the practice development in line with the recruitment initiatives, such as university campaigns, company branding, job events, and more. Based in Philippines, he will also play a key role as the business partner for tax. As PwC PH begins with the HR business partnering model, Abarintos feels very challenged and excited to make a great contribution to the business and firm. For the year 2018, Chris’ plate has the following areas related to his strategic focus - recruitment and onboarding, employee management, employee development, rewards and recognition, workforce management, and organisational effectiveness.

Café de Coral Holdings welcomes senior managerBased in Hong Kong, Kenneth Kan has recently joined Café de Coral Holdings as its HR senior manager. Previously from Hong Kong International Terminals, where he was its HR manager for close to two years, Kan has held various HR positions for more than 20 years. In fact, he started off his HR career with Café de Coral Holdings in 1995. Cafe de Coral Holdings Limited is one of Asia’s largest publicly listed restaurant and catering groups. Headquartered in Hong Kong, our operations now cover over 350 operating units in Hong Kong and over 100 shops in Mainland China.

Tsit Wing Coffee Company announces new group HR and administration managerJoining as group human resources and administration manager, Joseph Chan has been welcomed into Tsit Wing Coffee Company. Previously, Chan was a human resources manager at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in Hong Kong and prior to this, he was the human resources manager and environmental management system manager at The Aberdeen Marina Club. He continues to be based in Hong Kong.

Agnes Goh joins Philips LightingPreviously from LVMH, Agnes Goh has joined Philips Lighting as its head of talent acquisition and executive search, growth markets and Greater China. In her current role, Goh is responsible for all talent acquisition actitivies across APAC, Greater China, Middle East and Africa. Based in Singapore, Goh has previously worked with firms such as Heidrick & Struggles, Korn/Ferry International and Philips.

Hidayah Rosli now specialist, global mobility at BHPJoining BHP in July, Hidayah Rosli is now its specialist, global mobility. Previously, Hidayah was the senior executive, global mobility specialist at ABB Malaysia where she had supported the main activities of the global mobility function, which will support the whole life-cycle process related to international assignments processes executed at high quality level. Based in Malaysia, she has also worked with World Class Training Malaysia, and Venture Technocom.

L'Oréal promotes assistant talent acquisition managerHaving been with leading cosmetics brand L'Oréal since 2014, Jessica Loi has recently been promoted to assistant talent acquisition manager. Previously holding the position of talent acquisition specialist, she was leading recruitment for roles across the functions of sales, marketing, finance and supply chain for the consumer products division and support functions. In fact, she previously led recruitment for all roles within the luxury products and professional products division. Prior to L'Oréal, she was with Unilever as its leadership development executive. She continues to be based in Malaysia.

Dyson hires talent acquisition partnerIn August, global technology enterprise Dyson hired Sharan Kaur as its talent acquisition partner. Based in Singapore, Kaur has over 8 years of diverse background in recruitment with professional experience in both agency and in-house roles. She started in an agency specializing in banking and finance, and was exposed to project based recruitment.

Kaur comes with a unique understanding of the online digital world's recruitment needs and knowledge in e-commerce, customer insights, digital marketing, online advertisement and cloud. She has also done some work around employer branding, social media and campus hiring. She has worked with leading firms such as Randstad, Brooklyn Group for Wolters Kluwer, PayPal, Expedia Inc, and RGF - International Recruitment Business.

Daniel Ho returns to Plaza Premium GroupPlaza Premium Group has recently welcomed back Daniel Ho as its learning and development manager in August. This followed an almost 10-year stint with The Hong Kong Jockey Club, where he was serving as its customer relations officer/trainer, where his responsibilities included assisting management to administer across the various functional areas (recruitment, performance management etc), supervising the operation of Race Day, conducting training for new joiners, handling customer enquiries, complaints and any ad hoc incident. Other than that, he has worked with Hong Kong Airport Services, Cathay Pacific Airwars and more. He continues to be based in Hong Kong.

aCommerce welcomes Joanne Bano as HR executiveBased in the Philippines, Joanna Bano joins aCommerce as its HR executive. Previously, she was serving as talent acquisition technical specialist at Curo Terknika, Inc where she was primarily responsible in performing all aspects of end to end recruitment and staffing, specifically handles hiring of programmers and developers, infrastructure, network engineers, and core key positions. Other tasks include recruitment reports, applicant tracking system and mobility support. Prior to that, she was an HR executive at PLDT Global Philippines Corporation. She is based in Philippines.

Ascender HCM welcomes regional sales managerAs of July 2017, Pascal Caloc has joined Ascender HCM as a Regional Sales Manager.Pascal brings with him over 15 years of experience in Information Technology, HCM, consulting and sales.He specialises in advising clients on how to outsource or consolidate their payroll function online with their corporate strategy. In his new role, he will be responsible for expanding the customer base across South East Asia reporting into the regional sales director. He continues to based in Singapore.

Rina Lee returns to 33 Talent Singapore33 Talent has re-hired Rina Lee as a director in the APAC region. She previously worked for the company from 2013 to 2016 and has over a decade of specialised digital recruitment experience. Lee has consulted with multiple clients to build teams from scratch, enabling new market entrants to develop their business by providing them with the digital and tech talents they need to be successful in this region.

Having a bird’s eye view of the digital and tech ecosystem, she says she “takes pride in being able to consult my clients on the latest trends in digital and partnering with them to achieve the desired results when it comes to hiring top digital talent.” She joins the team again to focus on senior digital hires and consultancy services.

Jeanie Poh now consultant, brokingContinuing her career with HFG Insurance Recruitment, Jeanie Poh is now a consultant in broking domains. Previously responsible for mid-to-senior appointments in re/insurance underwriting and broking domains, she took a consultative approach with both her clients and candidates and would love to speak to any insurance professional looking for career or recruitment advisory and assistance.

HFG is a leading recruitment consulting firm that provides specialist professionals to leading insurance, asset management, pension management and consultancy firms. HFG currently cover UK, European, Bermudan and Asia-Pacific assignments. Poh continues to be based in Singapore.

Isaac Peter joins People Development TeamIsaac Peter has recently joined People Development Team as its associate facilitator. Founded in 1998 in the UK , the People Development Team delivers development and training solutions to its clients around the world through our global network of trainers and consultants. Before his current appointment, Peter was with People Performance for close to six years where he served as its managing director and principal consultant. Other than that, he has also worked with Aon Hewitt, PD training, and more. He is based in Singapore.

Jesse Ch'ng now senior consulting managerJoining VHR COnsultancy as its senior consulting manager in August, Jesse Ch'ng was previously with PentagonPlus as its associate director for more than two years. In fact, Ch'ng comes with almost 20 years of experience where he has held various business development roles such as business manager at Hewlett-Packard, assistant vice president at YTL Communications, and head of business development at Unilever. He continues to be based in Malaysia.

May Wu joins Robert WaltersJoining Robert Walters in September, May Wu has been recently appointed its consultant, financial services (risk). Prior to this, Wu was a consultant in Page Personnel Hong Kong, where she was specialising in administrative and secretarial support recruitment at Michael Page across commercial industries, varying from international corporations to Hong Kong companies. She continues to be based in Hong Kong.
