HR practitioner appointments

Hop Lun appoints HR directorAngel Kwok was appointed corporate human resources director at Hop Lun in March.  Kwoks brings with her more than 20 years of experience in human resources, with many years in senior management roles.

She took up the role of vice-president human resources Asia Pacific at Esprit in 2009.  Before moving to Hop Lun, she was vice-president head of global learning & development and HR culture at Esprit.  She is based in Hong Kong.

Sally Wong expands her role at WrigleyAfter joining Wrigley in 2015 as regional talent director, Sally Wong  was appointed regional talent director & change management lead in February.  Before joining Wrigley, Wong held senior manager positions in adidas Group and Esquel Group.  She is based in Hong Kong.

New rewards manager at ChanelChris Leung joined Chanel as rewards manager, Asia Pacific in March.   Leung brings with him more than 10 years of experience working in HR, with the last five years focusing on rewards.  His previously appointment was regional reward manager, Asia Pacific at Oxford University Press.  He is based in Hong Kong

G2000 (Apparel) Limited welcomes new HR managerSimon Lo joined G2000 in March as senior human resources manager.  Previously he was the county manager- HK and greater China at Salt.  Lo had been working in the HR sector since 1995. He is based in Hong Kong.

Rosedale Hotel Group enhances HR departmentGloria Chan was appointed assistant human resources manager of the group in March.  She had served in the HR department in the hotel sector since 2010.  Her last appointment was human resources officer at The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong.   She is based in Hong Kong.

Promotion at Regal Kowloon HotelAngus Choi was promoted from human resources officer to senior human resources officer with effect in March.  Choi joined the hotel in 2012 as a human resources assistant.  He is based in Hong Kong.

Management movements at L’OréalAfter a six year stint as the HR director for L’Oréal India, Mohit James moves into a global role as South Asia HR director for L’Oréal and APAC HRD for L’Oréal’s professional products & active cosmetics divisions.

Under his leadership at L’Oréal India, the function evolved significantly with many initiatives including the management trainee program, employer branding, rewards competitiveness, gender diversity inclusion and recognition programs.

Meanwhile, L’Oréal India has appointed Roshni Wadhwa, previously human resources director for L’Oréal Singapore, in place of James.

Wadhwa brings in 19 years of experience and her prior work experience includes business HR partnering and organisational development in companies such as Novartis and Pantaloon Retail. She joined L’Oréal India in 2013 as general manager – HR for consumer products division.

DKSH strengthens hiring teamAdeline Foo joined DKSH in March as global sourcing & talent acquisition.  Previously, she was principal consultant, human resources desk with Randstad Singapore.   She is based in Singapore.

DSM appoints Liz Mackay as global head of talent acquisitionAfter spending a year in Singapore as Google's head of talent channels-tech, APAC, Mackay moved in March to DSM in the Netherlands for her new role.

She has more than 10 years of experience with recruitment and had worked in a number of locations, including Australia, Indonesia and Singapore throughout her career.

Orange enhances hiring teamAmsyar Ridzuan was hired as an internal recruiter by Orange in March.  Previously he was a talent acquisition consultant at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.  He is based in Malaysia.

HR solutions provider appointments

Don Nelson Recruitment Ltd / Nelson Solutions appoints new directorStarting from March, Wayne Cheng will lead the operation of Nelson Recruitment Ltd / Nelson Solutions.  Previously he was an associate director at TalentQuest HR.  Cheng had served in the recuirment sector since 2004. He is based in Hong Kong.

Also joining the company is Ivor Fong.  He joined Nelson Solutions as senior manager in March.  Previously he was with Faro Recruitment Hong Kong & China as team head of staffing division.  He is based in Hong Kong.

Page Group welcomes new consultantLainna Ng joined Page Group as a consultant in March.  In her new role she will focus on hiring for retail banks, investment banks, corporate banks, asset management firm, fund house, insurance firms etc.  Her previous appointment was recruitment consultant (banking and finance)  at PeopleSearch.  She is based in Hong Kong.

Appointments in LinkedinJordana C. Lee joined Linkedin as sales development representative, talent solutions in March.  Previously she was a recruitment consultant- compliance & risk at Capital Recruitment Group Ltd.   She is based in Hong Kong.

After serving as a consultant at Endeavour Search Limited,  Dora Zhong joined Linkedin as customer success manager in March.  She relocated from Hong Kong to Beijing for the new role.

Kiwi Search (Global) Limited promotes senior recruitment consultantKenneth Chow was promoted in March from recruitment consultant to senior recruitment consultant.  He joined Kiwi Search (Global) Limited om 2016.  Prior to Kiwi, he was a recruitment officer at G A Career Ltd.  He is based in Hong Kong.

Manpower strengthens consulting teamLilian Hung joined Manpower in March as senior consultant.  She came over from Mira Moon Hotel where she served for more than three years as a human resources officer.  She is based in Hong Kong.

Kerry enhances recruitment teamManju Vijayan joined Kerry as recruitment specialist - SEA in March. Previously she was with Logistics Executive Group where she regional executive search consultant- Asia.

Based in Singapore, Vijayan had been in the recruitment sector since 2004.

OPUS IT Services Pte Ltd strengthens hiring teamJade Yam Tze Yen joined OPUS IT Services Pte Ltd  in February as a recuitment executive.  Her previousl appointment was talent sourcing specialist- candidate delivery centre (SEA) at Career International.  She is based in Singapore.

New recruiter at Veeam SoftwareLee Wai Leong joined Veeam Software in March as a recruiter.  His previous appointment was with Hudson, he served as senior talent acquisition consultant at Cochlear.  He is based in Malaysia.

Oracle welcomes graduate program manager- APACDaniel Lim was appointed graduate program manager- APAC at Oracle in March.  Previously, Lim was with PayPal serving as talent acquisition & employer branding specialist-APAC.  He is based in Malaysia.

Promotion at Aon HewittElaine Yap was promoted in March to consultant- engagement at Aon Hewitt.  She had been with the company since 2014, starting out as an analyst- reward.  She is based in Malaysia.
