HR tech champions to gather in September

Technology continues to play a critical role in improving workplace processes, human capital management, and overall business growth. This will be further proven by the HR community’s brightest minds and leaders at HR Tech Interactive, Asia’s only invitation-only HR technology event for HR leaders in the region. Intensifying this one-of-a-kind gathering are this year’s sponsors, solutions providers Pulsifi, Accendo, Pageup, Excelity and Guidebook.

“With the expertise and support imparted by our sponsors, HR Tech Interactive 2017 will deliver wide-ranging perspectives which help organisations make wise decisions in technology investments,” said Aditi Sharma Kalra, regional editor of Human Resources magazine. “These companies are all highly accomplished in their respective areas with valuable contributions to the industry.”

HR Tech Interactive 2017 is a one-day conference happening in Kuala Lumpur on 12 September, in Singapore on 14 September, and in Manila on 28 September.

Among the sponsors supporting HR Tech Interactive 2017 are some of the leading firms in Asia:

Reinventing performance in the workplace for optimum efficacy and maximum success is the working principle of Accendo, provider of technologies that reach, manage and nurture top talent. With 20 years of industry experience, Accendo delivers device solutions that fit well in any workspace in the world and customises them for optimum results in the ASEAN market.

Excelity Global Solutions, a former business of Aon Hewitt, is now considered the largest payroll outsourcing provider in Asia, processing more than 1.2 million payslips each month. Excelity has delivery centres operating in Singapore, Malaysia, China, India and Philippines. Excelity Global’s proprietary payroll platform is offered in 12 countries across APAC through a managed services model, along with HCM offerings in a SaaS model.

Founded in January 2011, Guidebook is a venture-funded, Bay Area-based company that provides a standard platform to build mobile apps for events and locations. This platform, which aims to help organisations develop mobile apps even without technical skills, has a feature set designed for ease of use for the event organiser and mobile user.

A global talent management software provider, PageUp is known for its SaaS-delivered and mobile-enabled solution which harmonises recruiting and onboarding, learning and development, performance management, compensation, career planning and succession management, with advanced workforce analytics running across all modules. With this, PageUp is able to help clients address talent management challenges that are inherent in operating across multiple countries.

Helping organisations truly understand their people is the main vision of Pulsifi. This is why its talent decision software platform can aggregate people data from across the web and within the organisation, analyse data to illuminate competency, personality and passion, and provide recommendations for staffing, teaming, retention and development.

"Organisations achieve greatness via great people. Great people are defined not by past employment and education, but a combination of hard and soft skills," shared Jay Huang, co-founder & CEO of Pulsifi. He added, "Winning organisations take advantage of big data to understand and develop talent using this holistic view of hard and soft skills, moving away from relying on just the CV."

Past HR Tech Interactive participants are senior HR leaders from major employers in the region, such as AXA, Credit Suisse, Ericsson, Hewlett Packard, Hyatt Group, Maersk, Petronas, Societe Generale, UPS, and Volvo Cars. All presenters & panellists, such as David Chin, chief human resources officer at Biosensors, are director or vice president level HR professionals with regional responsibility.

Held in Malaysia, Philippines, and Singapore in September, HR Tech Interactive is Asia’s biggest HR technology strategy event. Attendance to the one-day annual event is by invitation only with invitations reserved for the senior in-house HR professionals.

Human Resources’ “Interactive-style” conference format applies to case study presentations, panel discussions and roundtable discussions in which delegates work through five topic areas in a single day – an experience described by attendees as eight hours of intense peer learning.
