HRDA 2018 backstage interview: Bank of China (Hong Kong)

Last month at the HR Distinction Awards 2018, Hong Kong, Human Resources spoke exclusively to Helen Li, general manager of human resources at Bank of China (Hong Kong), on the keys to succeed in change management and the challenges it encountered last year.

In pursuit of the strategic goal to “build a world-class bank in the new era”, Bank of China (Hong Kong) recognised the need to persistently enable advancement through technology and drive development through innovation.

Since 2012, the company has commenced one of the largest IT architectural transformation projects globally to replace and integrate the core-banking IT systems across countries into one seamless state-of-the-art platform.

The banking giant was recently awarded one gold award for Excellence in Change Management; one silver for Excellence in Graduate Recruitment/Development; and one bronze for Excellence in Learning & Development at Human Resources’ HR Distinction Awards.
