The Indonesian Ministry of Manpower (MOM) has announced that it will expand the scope of Wage Subsidy Assistance Programme (BSU) recipients nationally, in 34 provinces spread over 514 cities/districts.

According to Indah Anggoro Putri, Director General for the Development of Industrial Relations and Social Security (PHI & Social Security) of the Ministry of Manpower, the policy for the expansion of BSU recipients was decided "due to the remaining budget and after coordinating with the National Economic Recovery Committee (PEN) and the Ministry of Finance to expand the scope of programme recipients." 

"The remaining BSU budget is IDR1,791,477,000,000 and will target 1,791,477 workers. The budget set and given by the PEN Committee for the BSU Programme is IDR8.7tn for 8,783,350 workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic," she said.

The BSU programme has thus far benefitted 6,991,873 workers/labourers, with a budget allocation of IDR6.9tn.

The Ministry has, so far, noted 8,508,527 prospective recipients of the subsidy. Upon checking and verifying the applications, it found 758,327 applicants who had duplicated social assistance or had received other social assistance, thus not meeting the requirements of the programme.

The 2021 BSU programme was originally intended to be completed and distributed entirely to recipients who meet the requirements, under the MOM's Regulation Number 16 of 2021, up till the end of October 2021. This is according to the direction of Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah, the MOM said.

Kemnaker Perluas Penerima BSU Hingga 1,7 Juta Pekerja

Kabar baik bagi pekerja/buruh sektor formal yang terdampak Pandemi COVID-19. Kemnaker akan memperluas cakupan penerima Program Bantuan Subsidi Upah (BSU) secara nasional di 34 Provinsi tersebar di 514 kota/kabupaten.

Menurut Dirjen Pembinaan Hubungan Industrial dan Jaminan Sosial (PHI & Jamsos) Kemnaker, Indah Anggoro Putri, kebijakan perluasan penerima BSU ini, diputuskan lantaran adanya sisa anggaran dan setelah melakukan koordinasi dengan Komite Pemulihan Ekonomi Nasional (PEN) dan Kementerian Keuangan untuk memperluas cakupan penerima Program BSU. 

"Sisa Anggaran BSU tersebut sebesar Rp1.791.477.000.000 dan akan menyasar 1.791.477 pekerja. Anggaran yang ditetapkan dan diberikan Komite PEN untuk Program BSU sebesar Rp.8,7 Triliun untuk 8.783.350 pekerja terdampak Pandemi COVID-19," kata Indah Anggoro Putri, saat mengikuti Rapat Dengar Pendapat (RDP) dengan Komisi IX DPR RI di Komplek Parlemen Senayan, Jakarta, Selasa (28/09/2021).

Indah Anggoro Putri menjelaskan realisasi dan progres program BSU saat ini telah tersalurkan kepada 6.991.873 pekerja/buruh dengan alokasi anggaran sebesar Rp6.9 Triliun. “Kami juga mendapat informasi, kami harus melaporkan BSU. Alhamdulillah per hari ini mengalami progress yang signifikan, dari target 8.783.350 pekerja," ujar ndah Anggoro Putri

Dirjen Putri merinci sesungguhnya data calon penerima BSU yang diterima kemenaker sejumlah 8.508.527 calon penerima. Kemudian setelah dilakukan pengecekan dan diverifikasi, ditemukan 758.327 data pekerja yang duplikasi bansos atau telah menerima bantuan sosial lain. Data tersebut dianggap tidak memenuhi syarat penerima Program BSU.

“Kami telah melakukan verified data untuk menghindari bansos-bansos lain dan dikeluarkan dari data BSU,” tegas Dirjen Putri.

Program BSU tahun 2021, sedianya akan dirampungkan dan tersalurkan seluruhnya kepada penerima yang memenuhi syarat sesuai Permenaker Nomor 16 Tahun 2021 hingga akhir Oktober 2021 mendatang. Hal demikian sesuai arahan Ibu Menaker, Ida Fauziyah.
