Malaysia's best recruitment consultants for client service

Robert Walters, Hanodale Technologies, ManpowerGroup, and Accendo Human Resource Solutions have been awarded the best recruitment consultancies for client service in Malaysia.

The distinctions were announced at the recent inaugural Asia Recruitment Awards, Malaysia, the only regional awards programme in Asia dedicated to excellence in recruitment and talent acquisition.

Sally Raj (pictured), managing director at gold winner Robert Walters Malaysia, said, "Our clients are key stakeholders in our business and we seek to thoroughly understand and appreciate their business needs.

"We are grateful for receiving this award and would like to thank our valued clients for journeying with us."

In testament to the company's efforts, 65% of its business thrives on referrals and word-of-mouth. It also supports its efforts through a deep local knowledge, such as in the form of its Returning Malaysians initiative, aimed at Malaysians overseas who are thinking of moving back home.

Winner of the silver, Hanodale Technologies, also expressed its commitment to being a partner of choice for clients, through its value proposition and offering.

Venkatesh Prabhu, the company's MD, said the team is "inspired by challenges, driven by passion" in accepting the award. "Innovation happens when we pay attention to the challenges, and continuously work to overcome them completely," he added.

The company recently overhauled its entire client management system, from a paper and Excel based format, to an automated software developed in-house, which has reduced response time to less than two business days.

The bronze award was shared by ManpowerGroup Malaysia and Accendo Human Resource Solutions.

ManpowerGroup, which has 14 offices in Malaysia, credited its new framework focused on "faster speed of response, improving efficiency and enhancing overall experience of clients and associates."

Despite it still in implementation, the approach ensured the company scored highest in  'responding and resolving queries quickly and effectively,' in the Group's Client Quality Program Survey 2014.

Similarly, Accendo, which faced the challenge of scrutinising applications by hand, designed an end-to-end process for its client that not only reduced time taken to process each one, but also helped eliminate human bias.

Sharma KSK Lachu, the group CEO, credited the company's aim to "amaze everyone" in their win. "To be acknowledged with the bronze in client service only pushes us to do bigger and better things for our client, to continuously push the boundaries and challenge the status quo to "amaze" our clients."
