It's that time of the year again – we're announcing the finalists of the HR Vendors of the Year awards 2022, Singapore!

In its eighth year, the Awards celebrates the exceptional contribution that HR solution providers across the region have made in supporting the HR function, and innovating business performances.

This year, we’ve added two new categories – bringing the total number to 31 – to help reflect the important role your team members have played in keeping the HR function stable in a time of uncertainty: Leader of the Year, and Local Hero.

The Awards were judged by a panel of top HR leaders, including senior HR professionals from Asmpt Singapore, Capella Hotel group, Cargill, China Telecom Group, Fujifilm Business Innovation, Herbalife Nutrition, Volvo Group Trucks, and more.

Commenting on the entries, Judge Richmond Kok, Corporate Director, Learning & Talent Development, Capella Hotel Group shared: "This year we have the pleasure of recognising the accomplishments of companies who have come together in innovative ways to support their employees and communities through this pandemic. The nominees for the awards represent the cutting edge of our industry. The use of AI and gamification makes it simple to stay on track with training and work objectives, while also making learning enjoyable for workers of all ages.

"I hope that more organisations will adopt these solutions to empower and streamline workplace traditions in order to become more efficient and effective."

Meanwhile, another member of the jury, Calvin Tay, Human Resources Director, China Telecom Group, said: "It is heartening to see so many esteemed vendor organisations joining the Awards. Each vendor has its own merits and unique propositions, thus making the establishment of a clear run-away winner in some categories a highly challenging task.

"Obviously, the quality of the nominations is very high and it is also very inspiring to see the suite of services offered by the vendors for organisations."

Michelle Ong, Head of HR, APAC & ISC, Shipco Transport added her views: "It is a privilege for me to witness the innovations and great initiatives that many vendors have put forth in enabling HR departments to run more efficiently and effectively, especially during this COVID-19 pandemic. They are agile and adaptive to business needs, and the COVID-19 new world demands had made them evolve faster than ever. Not only that, I am glad to see they continue to strengthen the in-house people agenda through training and development, and emphasise employee wellbeing in a more holistic way.

"I believe the way companies treat their employees will become the deciding factor for success or failure in being a reliable vendor in our new post-pandemic era."
