The 10 brands Singaporeans would be most proud to work for

The nation's flag carrier, Singapore Airlines, is the brand Singaporeans would be most proud to work for, in new rankings from YouGov BrandIndex. This was followed by another home-grown brand in second place, i.e. Changi Airport.

The rest of the top 10 rankings were dominated by digital brands, wherein tech giant Google comes third, Apple is fourth, and video platform YouTube takes fifth spot. The rest of the ranking (from spots 6-10) is made up of Facebook, Netflix, WhatsApp, DBS, and Samsung respectively. Table below:

YouGov has a separate ranking for the brands which have seen the biggest increase in their scores over the past 12 months, in terms of how proud Singaporeans would be to work with them.

Transport provider SMRT heads this list with its score increasing by +20.9 points, followed by Netflix and Huawei. Xiaomi and Qatar Airways round off the top off of this list. Table below:

Ervin Ha, Head of Data Products at YouGov APAC said: "A good way of measuring a brand’s reputation is to find out whether people would be happy to be employed by it. For the second year running, Singapore Airlines comes out on top as the brand Singaporeans would be proudest to work for."
