The top users of recruitment technology in Asia

Amid today's competitive talent war, locating and reaching out to talent in innovative and digitally-enhanced ways is what sets businesses apart from their competitors.

That is why the Asia Recruitment Awards 2016 honoured those in-house recruitment teams that are best at leveraging technology to attract talent.

GroupM emerged as a master in its use of recruitment technology, winning the gold award in Hong Kong and Malaysia, and bronze in Singapore.

Angela Ryan, chief talent officer APAC, GroupM commented “As our industry evolves so does great talent management”.

“Recruitment is our first connection point with talent and our innovation in this area reflects what we stand for and how we stand apart from other organisations. I am very proud of our exceptional talent acquisition team and that their achievements have merited such high recognition from the judges.”

The Asia Recruitment Awards, held for the second consecutive year, are the region’s premier awards for recognising and rewarding excellence in recruitment, across in-house recruitment teams as well as recruitment agencies, held in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.

In the Asia Recruitment Awards 2016, Singapore, Ericsson was the gold award winner, followed by silver award winners Tata Consultancy Services and Manulife Financial Asia.

Over at the awards in Hong Kong, DBS Bank (Hong Kong) took the stage to win the silver award.

SAP SE was awarded the bronze award.

British American Tobacco won the hearts of judges in the Malaysia edition of the awards, clinching the silver award, while IHS Global took home the bronze.

All entries submitted were judged by a pool of more than 60 senior HR practitioners from the corporate and public sector across Asia. For this category, the judges looked for career websites which feature a comprehensive corporate branding strategy that increases visibility and generate a significant number of pageviews, assuming an important role in the success of the organisation.
