In addition, Chan is a member of the local management team and involved with business strategies and development

"My role is more than just an HR supporting role, it is strategic and integrated closely with the business and people," Chan shared with Human Resources. "The best part of working in HR is the exposure to an international network and the variety of HR projects our group is driving to the company as an employer of choice."

"Our reputation as a leader in trust, fund and corporate services has been shaped over 65 years. It’s built on our quality service, global network, personal approach, reliability and responsiveness. Intertrust has grown significantly in the last few years via its strategy of acquisition and mergers. This has resulted in an organisation consisting of numerous legacy organisational cultures, various values sets and ways of working, spread across 28 countries. This valuable experience brings a lot of new challenges through different initiatives to bring different cultures together and to develop a high-performance culture.

"Our priority of the business has always been people. One of the priorities this year is strengthening our culture programme “One Journey”. This journey is intended to develop a culture that unites the organisation globally, facilitates cross-border working and high-performance teams. There are different phrases in this journey to strengthen the trust between each other and with the company," she adds.
