Up the ranks: Raj K. Mallavarapu joins Innoterra as Group CHRO

With 18 years of experience, Raj has expertise in partnering with executive teams to enable transformation, creating people strategies, and driving talent management.

Swiss-Indian food and technology platform Innoterra has announced the appointment of Raj K. Mallavarapu (pictured above) as Group Chief Human Resources Officer.

With the company's operational footprint across 14 countries, Raj will be based in Mumbai and lead Innoterra’s HR divisions globally.

Equipped with over 18 years of experience at the intersection of talent and transformation, Raj has held leadership positions in HR, business strategy & digital transformation in Fortune 500 companies including Saint-Gobain Group, Monsanto Company, and most recently, Bayer AG.

Raj’s diverse experience has helped him develop expertise in partnering with executive teams to enable transformation, creating people strategies, driving integrated talent management, and building a dynamic work culture that champions inclusion and diversity.

Speaking on his new role, Raj said: “I am excited to join Innoterra, a diverse and multinational agri-tech platform that is growing and scaling rapidly. The company currently employs more than 1,300 people and manages the sale of farm produce through its sales and distribution network in India, Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
