Konica Minolta Business Solutions Asia has appointed Tadayuki Funakura as its new managing director.
He will be taking over the role from Ryo Maruhashi, who will be moving on to assume the role of chairman.
Funakura has over thirty years of experience in the print and imaging industry. Prior to this, he was the general manager of sales division at the company.
He has played a significant role in driving the strategic aspects of sales and growth in the region, according to a media release issued by the company.
"Asia is a dynamic growth engine for Konica Minolta. As part of transformation, I hope to bring the company to being more solution and service-centric with an ardent focus on customer centricity," Funakura said.
