Effective 20 June 2022 (Monday), all such transactions will be transferred to another office of Malaysia's Immigration Department, called the UTC Kuala Terengganu branch.

Malaysia's Immigration Department in Terengganu (Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia Negeri Terengganu) has updated the procedures for visas, passes, and permits.

According to its infographic, effective 20 June 2022 (Monday), all transactions involving visas, passes, and permits applications that previously were done at its Department located at Wisma Persekutuan, Jalan Sultan Ismail, will now be processes in another office of the Department, called the UTC Kuala Terengganu branch. It is located at Jalan Tengku Embong Fatimah, near Paya Bunga Square.

With that, it is noted that any applications after that period will no longer be processed at the Department's office at Wisma Persekutuan.

Previously, Malaysia's Immigration Department (Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia, or JIM) also announced that Visa on Arrival facilities will resume from 1 June 2022 (Wednesday). According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia (Kementerian Luar Negeri, or KLN)'s website, the Visa on Arrival (VOA) applies to citizens of China and India who are visiting Malaysia from specific regions.
