Standard Chartered Bank promotes international mobility and immigration headAfter close to a year at Standard Chartered Bank as the regional lead in international mobility, Elizabeth Keller has been promoted to head of the department. Based in Singapore, Keller is A driven and adaptable individual, with significant national and international relocation experience, excellent customer and team skills and a proven ability to design and implement innovative solutions and ensure quality outcomes. Coupled with international life-work experience in the UK, US, Japan, Australia and Singapore; Keller thrives on building effective client and supplier relationships and achieving quality results. She was previously with SIRVA Worldwide Relocation & Moving as its director (account management).

Siti Aishah Md Lassim takes on CHRO roleBased in Malaysia, UEM Edgenta welcomes Siti Aishah Md Lassim in October 2017 as its CHRO. She was previously working with TalentCorp as its head of diversity and capability programmes from June 2015 to October 2016. She is a strategic people leader with a demonstrated history of working in the financial, oil and gas, energy and IT industries. Skilled in HR consulting, coaching, rewards, learning, talent management, and organisational design.

PBA Group of Malaysia welcomes talent acquisition managerShankar Arumugam has joined PBA Group of Malaysia in January 2018 as its talent acquisition manager. In his current role, he will determine current staffing needs and produce forecasts, develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans, lead employment branding initiatives, as well as perform sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs. He was previously the human capital manager for BSSB Furniture under contractual terms; and prior to this - the head of HR for Bestinet. Based in Malaysia, his HR experience spans for close to a decade since Aug 2008 where he was with Kelly Services as its recruitment consultant then.

Mona Abu Bakar now HR functional lead at UEM GroupMona Abu Bakar takes on a new role as UEM Group's HR functional lead (ERP Oracle project team). Previously the group's workforce planning and talent acquisition head, Mona has been with the firm since Jan 2016. UEM Group is one of Malaysia's leading engineering-based infrastructure and services group with an established track record and global operations. She is currently based in Malaysia and has worked with big names such as PwC Malaysia, Bursa Malaysia, CIMB Group and more.

Pymetrics appoints managing director for APACBased in Singapore, Grace Kerrison has been appointed the Managing Director for Asia Pacific at pymetrics, which uses neuroscience games and bias-free AI to predictively match people with jobs where they'll perform at the highest levels. Kerrison previously served as LinkedIn’s director of global accounts, Asia.

With Kerrison’s appointment, pymetrics is formalising its commitment to expansion in Asia, where it established offices in Singapore last year. Kerrison’s work as a senior sales and marketing leader for some of the most innovative companies in the world, including Cisco, Microsoft and LinkedIn, position her well to drive pymetrics’ business growth and expansion across APAC. In her most recent leadership role at LinkedIn, Kerrison successfully built the company's global clients business in the region, achieving double-digit growth over the past three years. Throughout her career she has also incubated and taken to market new businesses and products, and at the same time gained a reputation for developing high performing teams.

Randstad Singapore promotes directorRecently promoted to director of Randstad Singapore, David Blasco Ramírez has over 10 years experience - including two of which were spent as a tax advisor with a Big 4 firm. He currently leads the accounting and finance team, and possesses an excellent track record and has personally recruited a broad spectrum of roles ranging from managers to directors and C-level searches. Prior to Randstad Singapore,Ramírez has worked with Michael Page, J & A Garrigues, and Vidrepur SA to name a few. He is based in Singapore.

Citi appoints new regional head of insurance for Asia Pacific and EMEACiti has appointed Sujoy Ghosh as regional head of insurance Asia Pacific and EMEA, within Citi’s consumer banking business. Based in Singapore, Ghosh will be reporting to Gonzalo Luchetti, head of Asia Pacific and EMEA retail banking. Ghosh will start with Citi in February.

He will oversee the bank’s overall insurance business in the Asia Pacific and EMEA regions including responsibility for all sales, products, marketing and distribution – including both physical and digital and work closely with Citi’s Cards and Loans team to develop and grow the bank’s insurance business. In this role, Sujoy will lead Citi’s long-term strategic relationship with AIA, Asia’s leading bancassurance agreement that was signed in December 2013 and has since been rolled out across Asia Pacific.

Prior to joining Citi, Ghosh was the regional head of bancassurance for Allianz in Asia Pacific responsible for setting up and managing all commercial and strategic partnerships across Life and General Insurance across Asia Pacific.

Sofy Rahman now senior executive at JustOfficeShifting her role from senior marketing executive at JustCo, Sofy Rahman is now senior executive at JustOffice. JustOffice is offers serviced office solutions for various business needs. From fully furnished serviced offices, virtual office services to meeting spaces, JustOffice offers a fully customisable experience to meet your business specificities.

Prior to this, Sofy was project office at Allspice Institute, and was managing director at SOFY creative agency. She is currently based in Singapore.

Appointment of managing director at Konica Minolta Business Solutions AsiaOsafumi Kawamura is the appointed managing director of Konica Minolta Business Solutions Asia (BSA) with effect from 1st January 2018. He will be responsible for strategic leadership and transformation for the region.

Kawamura brings with him more than 25 years of experience in the print industry. Prior to his appointment at BSA, he was the Managing Director of Konica Minolta Business Solutions Thailand. He was instrumental in the establishment of Konica Minolta Business Solutions Thailand and its transformation into a value-added organisation.

A veteran in the print and imaging industry, he has helmed vital roles in Japan, Singapore, France, Vienna, Thailand and India. Throughout his career with Konica Minolta, Kawamura has undertaken several roles in sales, marketing, business planning, and strategic leadership with experience managing markets in Middle East, ASEAN, Eastern Europe, Asia Pacific, Central and South America.

KellyOCG introduces operations specialist and sourcing specialistLobhini G. joins KellyOCG as its operations specialist APAC. In her current role, she will be responsbile for managing the flow of a workplace and optimise day-to-day activities. The role involves analysing business operations and identifying customer needs in order to bring the two closer together. Based in Malaysia, she facilitates the hiring process of contract employees for a complex or high volume account by using an e-procurement tool and managing relationships between the client (stakeholders) and the approved vendors. She was previously from ManpowerGroup - Experis.

Meanwhile, KellyOCG also welcomes Athieswaran Nalarajah as sourcing specialist since January 2018. Previously form Kelly Services, Athieswaran was responsible for maintaining a clear and accurate understanding of the entire recruiting process to ensure quality delivery of candidate submissions. He had to identify and source talent across multiple sourcing channels including job boards, social media and other platforms/environments that ensure a strong talent funnel. He continues to be based in Malaysia.
