HR Practitioner Appointments

Andy Chan KC accepts new role as VP, talent and organisation developmentHaving been part of the industry since 2001, Andy Chan KC has been recruited by United Overseas Bank (Malaysia), to the role of vice president, talent and organisation development, HR. He remains based in Kuala Lumpur, moving over from AIA where he was senior manager, learning and development, HR. Previously, he has also worked with CIMB, HRnet Performance Consulting, and more.

Leanne Goliath-Yarde takes up new role at Coty in SingaporeTenured with FMCG major Mondelēz International since 2010, Leanne Goliath-Yarde has taken up a new role as HR director South East Asia cosmetics firm, Coty. She continues to be based in Singapore. Whilst at Mondelēz International, she worked across a number of roles and geographies, such as the roles of HR business lead at South Africa, regional HR manager at Dubai, and more.

Food and beverage major Kerry fills recruitment specialist roleBased in Singapore, Kristin Bok is recruitment specialist at Kerry, moving from her past role as OCG  operations lead - APAC at KellyOCG, where she was credited with introducing strategic recruitment processes which resulted in a reduction of time-to-fill. She remains based in Singapore.

Speaking to Human Resources on her new role, her key responsibilities are to manage the end-to-end recruitment within the commercial functions across the APAC region for sales, business development, marketing, and R&D functions. "The key focus will be to recruit for immediate requirements, to build a strong talent pipeline for the business, and to develop and promote the employer brand of Kerry," she affirms.

Khairul Amir welcomes a new role with Four Seasons Hotels and ResortsEffective December 2017, hotel operator Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has recruited Khairul Amir as assistant human resources manager. He continues to be based in Malaysia, currently in Langkawi, and has previously held assignments at Lexis Hotel Group, Sunway International Hotels & Resorts, and more.

Athia Sheik is associate general manager - rewards at Schneider ElectricBased in Bengaluru, Athia Sheik has been appointed by energy management firm, Schneider Electric as associate general manager - rewards effective December 2017. Prior to that, she was working with Mercer as associate / industry leader - rewards and talent consulting.

Ariff Ikhwan Faadrul Reza takes up HR role at AmBank GroupIn a move from MMC Corporation, Ariff Ikhwan Faadrul Reza has been appointed by financial solutions major, AmBank Group to the role of lead, talent acquisition. Based in Kuala Lumpur, he was previously senior executive - human resources at MMC Corporation since January 2016, prior to which he was with RHB Bank.

USG Boral Building Products appoints Tala Supangco-Ocampo, ACC as HR directorTala Supangco-Ocampo, ACC has been appointed HR director of USG Boral Building Products, previously the VP for HR of Get Hooked 360, Inc., based in the Philippines. She has over 15 years of experience in HR, and has also been a coach, facilitator and consultant in a prior freelance assignment.


HR Solutions Provider Appointments

Rajessh Rai is promoted to director at AccentureConsulting firm Accenture has elevated Rajessh Rai from vice president human resources to director. He leads HR for nearly 35-40k employees, and with his new role, this will be across a strategic organisation structure of operating groups such as products, communication media and technology, financial services and resources in the operations business space of Accenture in India, he told Human Resources.

Based in Bengaluru, India, he has been with the company since January 2016. Prior to this, Rai served as chief people officer at Eicher Motors.

Soh Ohno announces advancement to Oracle JapanSales specialist Soh Ohno has been appointed by HR software provider Oracle Japan in the role of senior sales consultant, based in Tokyo. In this role, he is responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Bringing over a decade of experience to this role, Ohno was previously with Ascender HCM as regional sales manager.
