Singapore's top 10 payroll vendors

SAP, Times Software and UNIT4 Asia Pacific have been voted as some of the best payroll vendors by human resources professionals in Singapore.

This is according to Vendors of the Year 2014, an annual special edition published by Human Resources, Asia's preferred source of HR news.

SAP has topped the list of payroll providers for the second year running, while Times Software maintains its second place ranking. In third place, UNIT4, has jumped up three places since 2013.

Charles Liaw, managing director of Times Software, said the company has continued to have steady growth over the past year, and now offers regional HRIS and payroll solutions, as well as secured partnerships with several international companies within Asia.

"Our customers vote for us for our user friendliness, cost-effective software investment, reliability, excellent after sales support service and consultancy and robust and scalable software capabilities to enhance work productivity," he said.

Ho Chee Tiong, regional sales director at UNIT4 said ERP software should be designed for people and flexibility, as the evolution of social, mobile, analytics and cloud (SMAC) are changing the way customers and organisations are doing business.

"Hybrid ERP will be the norm within the next five years and service centric organisations will move the majority of their ERP applications to the cloud," he said. "This SMAC trend is slowly inducing a transition from a ‘systems of records’ to a people-centric ‘system of experience’."
