Talent Management 2013: Using technology to influence your best talent

Human Resources welcomes Alison Sibree, vice president of human resources for Oracle Asia Pacific & Japan, onto the speakers' panel at Talent Management 2013.

Sibree will join Richard YK Lee, director of human capital management solutions at Oracle Asia Pacific, on stage to deliver a presentation titled, ‘Leveraging on the power of technology to attract, nurture and motivate your best talent'.

"Businesses today move faster than ever before, engage with customers more intimately than ever before, and create new products more rapidly than ever before. And businesses that expect to thrive in such an environment need outstanding people who can meet and overcome all those challenges, with a clear understanding of their company's vision and strategy and of their own responsibilities," said Sibree.

"A new generation of HCM applications and tools give businesses and their people the insights and intelligence to drive outstanding performance across the company."

Sibree is currently responsible for all aspects of human resource management at Oracle, including designing and implementing HR activities to meet the organisation's strategic and business goals across 16 countries in APAC and Japan.

She is also the HR business partner for a global Oracle entity based in India, which is a key provider of core banking products and services to the global financial industry. Sibree is additionally very much involved in the various mergers and acquisitions regularly undertaken by Oracle Corporation.

Prior to joining Oracle, she held various HR consulting roles with major consulting firms and since 1989 has held line HR roles in investment banking and information technology companies.

Talent Management 2013 will be held from 12-13 March at the Novotel Clarke Quay in Singapore.
