The results are in, and we’re proud to reveal the exceptional companies and teams that have made it to this year’s shortlist.
Now in its fourth year, the HR Excellence Awards continues to celebrate the people and strategies that are redefining the HR landscape across the country. This year’s programme features 41 diverse categories, highlighting excellence in employee engagement, talent development, leadership, workplace culture, HR digitalisation, and more.
We’re also excited to introduce a brand-new category this year: Excellence in Addressing Urban Workforce Challenges.
The awards will take place at a gala dinner on 7 August 2025 (Thursday).
This year’s jury panel brings together top senior HR leaders from some of the most influential organisations in the Philippines including AirAsia Philippines, Ericsson Telecommunications Inc, Fedex, Dole Philippines (Stanfilco), Primeline Products Philippines, and more.
We caught up with a few of our esteemed judges to hear their exclusive insights on the judging experience – here’s what they had to say:
Mary Margaret Tan, Chief Human Resources Officer, Primeline Products Philippines said: "This year’s entries are a powerful reminder that when HR leads with both purpose and strategy, organisations and people thrive together. Well done to all the finalists!"
Additionally, Kirk Alimaza, Country Head, People, AirAsia Philippines shared: "This year’s entries reflect a remarkable shift toward purpose-driven, employee-empowered initiatives — showcasing innovation, inclusivity, and impact even in resource-constrained environments. Many organisations demonstrated that with the right intent, meaningful change can be both scalable and sustainable."
Xandra Feliza B. Galang, Head of Strategic HR Talent Management, Ayala added her thoughts: "Judging the HR Excellence Awards Philippines 2025 was a refreshing look at how companies are making real changes in the way they care for, grow, and keep their people. From smart use of HR tech to practical rewards and strong internal pipelines, the entries showed how HR is stepping up as a key driver of business and culture.
"What struck me most was the quiet but steady shift toward purpose—more companies are now building programmes that not only support employees but also contribute to something bigger. It’s the kind of work that reminds me why we do what we do."
Sharon L. Binwag-Villalon, Director of Human Resources and People Support, Dole Philippines (Stanfilco) also shared her views: "It was an honour to be part of the judging panel for the Employee Experience Awards. The level of innovation, dedication, and impact showcased across all entries was truly inspiring.
"Congratulations to all the finalists, your work is shaping the future of HR in meaningful ways!"
Get ready for an inspiring night of celebration as we shine a spotlight on the outstanding contributions of HR professionals across the Philippines. Don’t miss this chance to be part of a prestigious gathering.
