Nelson Mandela, the former South African President died on December 5th, 2013 at the age of 95.
An anti-apartheid activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Mandela had been battling a series of illnesses for some time, announced South African President Jacob Zuma in a live televised statement.
He is a man who will always be remembered for his struggles, his strength, his wisdom and his kindness, so we found it only appropriate to share a few of the best quotes from the man himself on leadership, love, peace and life.
