The Prime Minister's Office of Malaysia (Jabatan Perdana Menteri) has published the complete calendar of public holidays for 2025, covering both federal and state observances. The specific dates for these holidays are detailed below.

Federal public holidays 2025

29 January, Wednesday: Chinese New Year
Applicable to: Kuala Lumpur, Labuan, Putrajaya, Johor, Kedah, Kelantan, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Perak, Perlis, Penang, Sabah, Sarawak, Selangor, and Terengganu.

30 January, Thursday: Chinese New Year (second day)
Applicable to: As above except Kelantan and Terengganu.

31 March, Monday: Hari Raya Puasa*
