Economic frontliners in Malaysia can now get vaccinated under ImmuPlan

This programme will provide 100,000 vaccine doses to economic frontliners, especially those in the industrial, the retail, and the government sectors, according to Johor’s Menteri Besar Hasni Mohammad.

Economic frontliners in Malaysia can officially register for COVID-19 vaccination under ImmuPlan via their MySejahtera app, the Johor government has announced. This programme, which began last Thursday (29 July 2021), will continue until “all eligible economic frontliners have been vaccinated.”

For the unacquainted, ImmuPlan is a vaccination programme which came to fruition in April 2021, catered specifically to frontliners. Per Malaymail’s report, the programme is also open to “Malaysian workers who have a valid work permit or job offer letter as well as employer letter in Singapore.”

ImmuPlan, on its own Facebook page, shared that all eligible individuals will be scheduled for vaccination daily depending on their registration date in the ImmuPlan system – those who registered early would get an earlier appointment date.

This entire process will be administrated through the MySejahtera app, where participants can take note of their location, time, and dates for vaccination. “Verification and reminder emails will also be sent after your vaccination schedule date and time are confirmed,” the Facebook post added.

Further, the Facebook account explained that ImmuPlan is not part of Malaysia’s National Pelan Imunisasi COVID-19 Kebangsaan (PICK) programme.

“If you do not receive an email or SMS notification, your vaccination is not under the ImmuPlan programme, and may be under the National PICK programme.”

Economic frontliners who would like to take part in ImmuPlan can apply, and head to Persada, Johor, Lower Ground Floor, HCO C, to get vaccinated.

Cited in the same report by Malaymail, Johor’s Menteri Besar Hasni Mohammad said this programme will provide 100,000 vaccine doses to economic frontliners, especially those in the industrial, the retail, and the government sectors.
