In addition, the EMCO has been extended for a total of 16 localities in Terengganu, Pahangm and Sabah, said the National Security Council (Majlis Keselamatan Negara, or MKN).
From Wednesday (4 August 2021) until Tuesday (17 August 2021), five Malaysian localities in Sabah, Kelantan, and Sarawak will be under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (PKPD, or EMCO), the National Security Council (Majlis Keselamatan Negara, or MKN) has announced.
Further, 10 localities in Dunggun, Terengganu and six localities in Kemaman, Terengganu, Raub, Pahang, and Papar, Sabah will see an EMCO extension lasting until 16 and 17 August 2021 respectively. More details below.
As for other localities in Pahang, Melaka, and other parts of Sabah as well as Kelantan – such as Kampung Kabang, Kampung Sat, Penjara Sungai Udang, Kampung Marau, Kampung Gong Jering, to name a few – EMCO officially ends today (3 August).
According to MKN’s media statement, the following localities are affected by the latest announcements:
Beaufort, Sabah
- Kampung Selagon
- Kampung Binsulok
Mukim Sungai Pinang, Tumpat, Kelantan
- Kampung Belian
Mukim Badang, Kota Bharu, Kelantan
- Kampung Tok Sadang
Mukah, Sarawak
- Kuarters Pekerja Ladang Palmlyn
With regard to the EMCO extension, the following localities are affected:
Mukim Kuala Dungun, Dungun, Terengganu (4 August to 16 August 2021)
- Sungai Buaya
- Tanah Lot
- Lembah
- Padang Jambu
- Nibong
- Bukit Chatak
- Kampung Molek
- Bijangga
- Sungai Udang
- Sungai Penaga
Mukim Bandi, Kemaman, Terengganu (4 August to 17 August 2021)
- Bandar Cheneh Baru
- FELDA Neram 2
Mukim Ulu Dong, Raub, Pahang (4 August to 17 August 2021)
- Kampung Bedu
- Kampung Temalian
- Kampung Pamah Kulat
Papar, Sabah (4 August to 17 August 2021)
- Kampung Pituru Kinarut
