Employee Benefits Asia 2018, Asia’s most prominent conference on employee compensation and benefits, will have its third showcase in Manila on June 27 at SMX Aura Premier, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The C&B conference is held across the region, with editions held annually in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.
More than 150 professionals from the human resources industry are expected to attend the gathering and interact with its expert speakers who will speak on the latest trends and developments in the country as well as in the region. Changing workplace flexibility, the impact of technology, and the different expectations of the various kinds of employees are just among the topics that the event will cover.
The speakers in the conference form a list of respected and experienced HR and C&B professionals, with their ideas and insights presented through actionable case studies:
Melanie Daracan, Manager for Talent Operations of B&M Global Services Manila, will start the conference by exploring “The Key Trends and Challenges in Compensation and Benefits.” The morning sessions will also feature Sheila Mondelez, HR Business Lead of Mondelez Philippines, who will explore how companies can introduce “Workplace Flexibility to Empower Employees and Increase Productivity”; Susan Fanning, Regional Leader for Consumer Wellness of Aon, who will show the advantages of “Leveraging on Technology to Formulate an Effective and Sustainable Wellness Program;” and Angelito Cruz, Senior Managing Consultant at P&A Grant Thornton, will emphasize the value of “Giving Transparency to Employee Compensation through the Establishment of Pay Grades.”
The conference will be capped by a panel discussion that will delve into another important issue: “Empowering Your Employees to Take Charge of their Health and Wellness.” The panelists are composed of Jolina Kahn, Senior Director of Human Capital of Optum Global Solutions; Shannon McGinnis, Vice President and General Manager of ADP; and Grace Garcia, Vice President and General Manager of the PDC Group.
Compensation and benefits are among the prime motivators in attracting and retaining top talent. As competition heats up in the business landscape, human resources practitioners join their leadership in forming strategies that can lure and keep those preferred professionals with their respective companies for the long haul. Employee Benefits Asia 2018 will provide an arena where issues in this area will be discussed and resolved. Aside from the engaging talks, networking opportunities will provide the participants a venue to share best practices with each other.
