"Travellers should expect delays at the checkpoints due to enhanced checks and factor in additional time for immigration clearance," ICA commented.
In response to the "heightened security situation" in the region, Singapore's Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) will enforce stricter security checks for travellers and vehicles arriving at all land, air, and sea checkpoints from 9 to 22 January 2025.
Travelers are advised to anticipate delays due to these enhanced measures and allocate extra time for immigration clearance.
