HireRight strengthens Talent Management Asia lineup

The chances of hiring the right people, and avoiding hiring the wrong people are greatly increased with a robust background screening process.

Leading background screening provider, HireRight, will share its expertise at Talent Management Asia, the region’s leading HR strategy conference.

Talent Management Asia 2016 is a two-day regional conference held in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore in March 2016. The annual event is attended by regional HR leaders and senior HR specialists from the biggest employers in Asia.

"Technology can be a blessing and a curse to HR professionals," said Steve Girdler, managing director EMEA and APAC at HireRight.

"Virtually every process seems to have its own interface, password and steep learning curve, followed by an ever-growing mountain of data to analyse and report."

"Not only can background screening technology mitigate the risk to your organisation of hiring the wrong candidate but also provide transparency, fairness, efficiency, speed and ultimately a better candidate experience."

Steve Girdler is responsible for building deeper customer relationships and driving HireRight’s growth outside the US. He joined the company in early 2013 from a background in executive management, business development, marketing and product development with expertise in resourcing, HR solutions and professional services industries.

Girdler has worked for KPMG as well as some of the largest names in the resourcing and outsourcing industry such as Manpower, Kelly Services and Adecco.

In his most recent role at Adecco he was director of London 2012, a three year endeavour which included the successful recruitment and delivery of 8,300 staff for the London Olympic games as well as the management of the Adecco Olympic sponsorship.

The project was lauded in the media and Government for delivering the most diverse and inclusive games ever through the development of innovative tools and programmes.

HireRight delivers global background checks and employment verification services through a novel platform to help organisations hire the right candidates, so they can grow successfully and efficiently — no matter the size or region.

HireRight offers a comprehensive screening solution which can be tailored to the unique needs of its clients, giving them peace of mind about people and processes. The platform can be integrated with existing HR platforms, making it easy for organisations to use and give candidates a better experience.
