Last month at the HR Distinction Awards 2018, Hong Kong, Human Resources spoke exclusively to Susanna Lam, senior vice-president of learning and talent development, and team head at DBS Bank (Hong Kong), on what innovation means to the HR team and how technology can be used to engage with employees.
The DBS HR team strives to build a healthier, more diverse and future-ready workforce that will boost the ability to spearhead the transformation of banking in a fast-changing business environment and to support the bank’s goal of “Live More, Bank Less”.
The effort from DBS Bank (Hong Kong) paid off with the company winning five gold awards for Excellence in Talent Management; Excellence in Employee Development; Excellence in Graduate Recruitment/Development; Excellence in Leadership Development and HR Innovative Team of the Year; and three silver awards for Excellence in HR Digitalisation; Excellence in Innovative Use of HR Tech; and Excellence in Learning & Development at Human Resources’ HR Distinction Awards.
