Individuals in Malaysia no longer need to upload COVID-19 tests results onto MySejahtera

The Ministry of Health also shared that effective 15 July 2024, COVID-19 tests will only need to be performed for treatment purposes, and no longer for screening.

Starting July 15, 2024, individuals in Malaysia must get any COVID-19 test done using professional RTK-Antigen or PCR tests, supervised or performed by health workers.

Uploading of results to the MySejahtera app is no longer required, and positive results will be reported by doctors through an eNotification system.

In a ⁠Facebook post, Malaysia's Ministry of Health said the COVID-19 tests will only need to be performed for treatment purposes, and no longer for screening.
