Mercer appoints Mario Ferraro to lead AMEA mobility practice

Mercer has appointed Mario Ferraro as the regional global mobility leader for Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA), excluding Japan.

He will work alongside global mobility team members to strengthen the business in key growth markets, in helping more companies to move talent around the world.

Based in Singapore, he will report to Puneet Swani, information solutions and rewards practice leader for AMEA, effective January this year.

Ferraro joins Mercer from Deloitte, where he was the director of the human capital consulting practice across South East Asia.

Gaurav D. Garg, Mercer's region president for growth markets, commented, "We are delighted to welcome Mario to the business."

"His extensive consulting and hands-on operational experience is a huge asset to us, especially in talent mobility, an area of growing importance to our clients in this part of the world."

Ferraro added that he was "excited" to join the team, saying, "I look forward to working with my new colleagues to provide market-leading global mobility solutions that enable international corporations to effectively manage their talent across borders.
