Hong Kong releases list of public holidays for 2025

The city will enjoy five long weekends in the coming year.

The HKSAR government has gazetted the list of general holidays for 2025. Per the list, there are a total of 17 days of public holidays in the coming year, wherein only two days fall on Saturday – the day following Good Friday, which is always on a Saturday, and Tuen Ng Festival.

Notably, the city will enjoy five long weekends in the coming year, including the Lunar New Year, Ching Ming Festival, Easter, Birthday of the Buddha, and Christmas.
