About 1.1mn HDB households will be able to claim S$300 worth of vouchers that can be used to purchase 10 types of energy- and water-efficient household products, with new additions such as direct current fans, washing machines, and water closets.
During the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment’s Committee of Supply (COS) Debate 2024 on 4 March (Monday), Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Sustainability and the Environment Dr Amy Khor announced that the Climate Friendly Households Programme (CFHP) will be enhanced to support households wishing to be more energy- and water-efficient, in turn helping to lower their utility bills.
The programme will be enhanced from 15 April 2024, and as part of this enhancement, all HDB households will receive S$300 worth of Climate Vouchers that can be used to purchase 10 types of energy- and water-efficient household products, with new additions such as direct current fans, washing machines, and water closets.
Following the announcement, the National Environment Agency (NEA) has shared a series of frequently asked questions (FAQs) on utilising the vouchers.

Check your eligibility for Climate Vouchers
Ensure you are eligible for Climate Vouchers under the enhanced CFHP. Singaporean Citizens or Permanent Residents residing in HDB flats are eligible for the vouchers.
Claim & utilise Climate Vouchers
The Climate Vouchers can be claimed and spent any time from 15 April 2024 to 31 December 2027. These vouchers, worth S$300 per HDB household, can be utilised to procure a range of energy-and water-efficient household products.
