The pilot set will integrate more than 90 government and private services, aiming to streamline access to essential government resources for the community.
Malaysia has launched its inaugural set of MADANI digital kiosks, a new initiative which aims to improve public services within the nation.
As shared during Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim's speech at Budget 2025, the kiosks, launched on 9 January 2025, will bring together more than 90 government and private services to facilitate quicker, more convenient, and user-friendly access to various government or government-linked companies' services.
In addition, the kiosks will involve elements of innovation and digitalisation that could potentially be expanded to take advantage of the latest technological advancements in public service delivery systems.
PM Anwar shared: "I had the opportunity to see and try out for myself the digital kiosks of government agencies and private parties that are available for the benefit of all levels of society.
"This is another important initiative from the Government in improving public services and meeting the current needs of the people, God willing," he said.
Operated by MADANI Monitoring Unit with the involvement of various ministries, agencies, and private parties, the first set of kiosks is in operation at Alamanda Shopping Centre, offering services from:
- Road Transport Department (JPJ)
- MyDigital ID (MIMOS)
- Retirement Savings Group (KWSP)
- Pos Malaysia
- Commission of Companies of Malaysia (SSM)
More details on this can be found on the official Malaysia MADANI website.
