Initially, the compulsory eVISA could be applied for from any country except Malaysia, Singapore, Israel, and North Korea.
Following an earlier announcement on 10 January 2023, Malaysia's MYVisa system (eVISA) is now available to be accessed in Singapore.
Initially, the compulsory eVISA, which was extended to all respective nationalities effective 15 November 2021, could be accessed from any country except Malaysia, Singapore, Israel, and North Korea. The Immigration Department of Malaysia (JIM) has since opened up the system for access in Singapore, per an update on 27 March 2023 (Monday).
The eVISA offers single entry visas (SEV) and multiple entry visas (MEV) to all nationalities that require an eVISA.
To apply, applicants will need to do the following:
- Go to this website
- Click on the "I'm New" icon
- Fill in your email address, nationality, passport number, surname/last name, given name, and gender on the registration page to complete the registration process.
