Those who worked for four consecutive hours or more on 27 or 28 July will be eligible for a reward of HK$100 per day.
To thank employees for their hard work in selling one million McGriddles during the trial sale period, McDonald's Hong Kong has decided to distribute up to HK$200 to each employee as a reward.
As reported, this incentive is available to all frontline restaurant employees as well as management, covering more than 8,000 staff members.
According to the internal statement cited by the local news reports, employees who worked for four consecutive hours or more on 27 or 28 July will be eligible for a reward of HK$100 per day. In other words, those who met the criteria on both days will get up to HK$200.

The restaurant emphasised in the statement that the big sales win for the new product has been attributed to the solidarity and the dedicated efforts of its employees. The company hopes to express its gratitude and boost employees’ morale through this incentive in line with the new product relaunch on 5 August.
