Mercer has been appointed by statutory board, SkillsFuture Singapore for the development of a national skills framework, creation of reference documents for technical skills and competencies, as well as undertake a wage study for HR professionals in Singapore.
The appointment follows the establishment of the Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP) by the nation's tripartite partners (Ministry of Manpower, National Trade Unions Congress and Singapore National Employers Federation) in a bid to professionalise and strengthen the HR practice.

The news comes on the back of the recent launch of Mercer Digital, which offers creative and tested approaches for digital organisation and workforce solutions. Experts from Mercer also serve on the IHRP professional practice committee, a national council dedicated to excellence in HR in Singapore.
