MSU and Indian Chamber of Commerce join hands to boost education, entrepreneurship, and skills in India

Medhavi Skills University (MSU) partners with the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) to bridge skills gaps and create sustainable opportunities.

Medhavi Skills University (MSU) and the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the North India Education Summit 2025. This partnership aims to address skill shortages, promote entrepreneurship, and prepare learners for sustainable employment opportunities in key industries.

Addressing skill gaps and promoting innovation

The collaboration seeks to leverage the strengths of both MSU and ICC to develop initiatives that respond to industry needs. Key objectives include:

  • Identifying and addressing skill gaps in vital sectors. 
  • Developing educational programs that focus on entrepreneurship and innovation. 
  • Conducting workshops, seminars, and exhibitions to share knowledge and insights. 
  • Implementing Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) programmes, along with reskilling and upskilling initiatives. 
  • Establishing strategic partnerships to apply for government schemes and projects to maximise impact. 

Kuldip Sarma, Co-Founder and Pro-Chancellor of MSU shared: “This partnership with ICC represents a crucial step in aligning academia with industry demands. By leveraging ICC's vast network and resources alongside MSU's expertise in skill development, we aim to equip learners with in-demand skills.”

added: “This MoU symbolises a shared vision to address the dynamic needs of the industry and enable students and professionals to excel in an ever-evolving workforce.”

MSU and ICC will jointly apply for government projects and schemes to amplify the reach of their initiatives. By pooling resources and expertise, they aim to strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems and offer quality skill development programs that meet international standards.

The partnership between MSU and ICC is said to represent a significant step towards transforming education and skill development in India, aiming to address critical skill gaps and foster innovation.
