The new hours will be in force from 17 to 22 September 2024.
The Immigration Department of Malaysia has announced an extension in the operating hours of its passport issuing offices in conjunction with the ongoing school holidays.
From 17 to 22 September 2024, the following operating hours will apply:
All states except Johor, Kedah, Terengganu, and Kelantan
Tuesday to Thursday*
8.00am - 8.00pm
Friday
8.00am - 8.00pm
Break time 12.15pm to 2.45pm
Saturday to Sunday*
8.00am - 3.00pm
Johor, Kedah, Terengganu, and Kelantan
Tuesday to Wednesday*
8.00am - 8.00pm
Thursday*
8.00am - 6.30pm
Friday
8.00am - 12.30pm
Saturday*
8.00am - 3.00pm
*operates during break time
