Orchard Parade Hotel rebrands to Orchard Rendezvous Hotel

Orchard Parade Hotel, located at the start of Orchard Road, has just completed its rebranding to Orchard Rendezvous Hotel.

Sitting under the portfolio of Far East Hospitality (FEH), one of Singapore’s leading operators of hotels and serviced residences, this becomes the second property under the Rendezvous brand in Singapore, the first being Rendezvous Hotel Singapore at Bras Basah.

The property has undergone extensive refurbishment leading up to the re-launch, having drawn inspiration from its erstwhile plot as a pepper plantation, as well as the proximity to the neighbouring Singapore Botanic Gardens.

This includes a delicate pepper leaf chandelier at reception and pepper plant motif in all 388 rooms of the property.

In the same vein, FEH has commissioned an orchid, called the Vanda Orchard Rendezvous, with the Orchid Society of South East Asia (OSSEA) for the occasion. Guests will find the two-toned hybrid placed on level six at the outdoor swimming pool area.

Arthur Kiong, chief executive officer of Far East Hospitality, commented: "The rebranding of Orchard Rendezvous Hotel is part of Far East Hospitality's continuous efforts to meet the demands of the growing mid-tier market.

"The property’s close proximity to the central area makes it an ideal location for the growing number of business travellers to Singapore; while nearby attractions, like the botanical gardens and Orchard shopping district, appeal to families."

Further on the rebranding of Orchard Rendezvous Hotel, the property now offers refurbished rooms in the space range of 26 to 76 sqm, leveraging on the relatively larger-room sizes as a mature property.

The rooms include finer touches such as club lounge access for club room guests, providing them amenities such as evening cocktails as well as set amount of laundry per day. Additionally, the family room comes with bunk beds for children, as well as a large balcony and living area.

A number of special partnerships have also been activated, such as the launch of the Vivid series in association with Dilmah; and personalised cards and stationeries with pressed orchids in partnership with local art organisation, Sense of Arts.

As part of the occasion, FEH has also refreshed the Rendezvous brand, thorough a new personable, yet distinguishable logo, featuring a handwritten "R" composed with a san-serif typeface.
