The last day will be 4 August 2024, and these closures will affect approximately 300 employees.
Restaurant chain Outback Steakhouse has announced the ceasing of operations of nine outlets in Hong Kong. The last day will be 4 August 2024.
According to its official statement, the company said it has “made the difficult business decision” to close nine outlets at D. Park, CWB JP Plaza, Wan Chai, TST East, Tuen Mun, Whampoa, Telford, Silvercord TST, and TKO Lohas. After the last opening day this Sunday, the number of outlets in the city will reduce to 10.
However, the company emphasised in the statement that the remaining outlets will continue to serve customers with the same commitment.
“We remain committed to Hong Kong market with our 10 branches and will continue to serve customers with the same commitment to quality and excellence that they have come to expect from the Outback brand,” it said.
“We look forward to welcoming you at one of our restaurants in the near future!”
As reported, this move will approximately affect 300 employees.
