Singapore to expand career services for local workers and jobseekers on-the-ground from 1 April 2024

Via the handover of 12 centres from Workforce Singapore, the management of more career touchpoints by NTUC’s e2i aims to boost its outreach and facilitation efforts.

Singapore's National Trades Union Congress (NTUC)’s Employment and Employability Institute (e2i) expand support for local workers and jobseekers through the handover of 12 centres from Workforce Singapore (WSG) starting 1 April 2024.

This handover will include two career centres located at Our Tampines Hub (OTH) and Woodlands Civic Centre (WCC), and 10 Jobs and Skills Centres (JSCs).

The management of more career touchpoints will allow e2i to boost its outreach and facilitation efforts on the ground by bringing its provision of services such as skills upgrading advisory and job matching services closer to the communities across Singapore.

Meanwhile, WSG will continue to operate its flagship Careers Connect situated at Lifelong Learning Institute.

During this transition, WSG clients who are currently receiving career coaching services from the career centres at OTH and WCC will continue to be served by their existing coaches.
