Overall, six long weekends are on the horizon in the coming year.
Taiwan's Directorate-General of Personnel Administration, Executive Yuan has listed out the 2025 holidays for government agencies.
According to the implementation regulations, if a memorial day or a holiday falls on a Saturday, the deferred day off is on the preceding workday; if a memorial day or a holiday falls on a Sunday, the deferred day off is on the following workday.
However, the deferred days off for Chinese New Year’s Eve and Chinese New Year are always on the following workdays.
Overall, six long weekends are on the horizon in the coming year.

- 25 January (Saturday) to 2 February (Sunday) Chinese New Year (9 days)
27 January is adjusted as a holiday, 8 February (Saturday) is adjusted as a workday to compensate. - 28 February (Friday) to 2 March (Sunday) Peace Memorial Day (3 days)
- 3 April (Thursday) to 6 April (Sunday) Children’s Day and Tomb Sweeping Day (4 days)
- 30 May (Friday) to 1 June (Sunday) Dragon Boat Festival (3 days)
- 4 October (Saturday) to 6 October (Monday) Mid-Autumn Festival (3 days)
- 10 October (Friday) to 12 October (Sunday) (3 days)
